If you are staying on the North Shore and don't want to drive into Lihue or farther, Heli USA flies out of the Princeville Airport. Operating an A STAR helicopter, they offer three different types of trips: a 30-minute tour of the mountains and valleys of the North Shore and a bit of the Na Pali Coast for $140; a 45-minute tour, which goes farther down the Na Pali Coast than the 30-minute trip and includes Waimea Canyon for $204; and a 60-minute tour of the entire island for $249.
