Frommer's Review
If you can remember American Bandstand on TV, when ice-cream sundaes were served in real sundae glasses, when malts were thick and the extra amount that didn't fit into your glass was put in front of you (at no extra charge), and when root beer floats had lots of ice cream that floated -- then put on your saddle shoes and drop by this genuine, old-fashioned, 1950s soda fountain. Former owner and "chief soda jerk" Kriss Erickson spent years researching this soda-fountain idea before he put all the ingredients together. He found a real soda fountain and added a black-and-white tile floor, red vinyl stools, and a 16-foot, mahogany mirrored bar. Kriss recently sold Beezers, and the new owner has added plate lunches, burgers, and fish and chips to the sandwich and dessert menu. Bring your date to share a soda, shake, malt, or banana split, and quarters for the jukebox.
