This roadside burger joint along the highway to Waimea Canyon is a throwback to the 1950s, with everything except the car hop to come out and take your order. Burgers galore from the "bare-foot" quarter pounder to burgers with onions, barbecue, even teriyaki sauce. Sandwiches (tuna, BLT, chicken, even hot dogs) come either a la carte or with fries. After you order and pick up your burger, you have the choice of eating inside or out. If you're still hungry, try one of their ice-cream desserts -- from a cup or cone to sundaes and banana-splits. Oddly enough they also serve great espresso, even espresso smoothies.
