This is a love story. Part one: A Japanese visitor, LeeAnn, meets stained-glass artist James Hargraves while on vacation on Oahu. They fall in love and marry. Part two: While visiting Kauai, they discover a 1924 plantation house and fall in love with it. They carefully restore the old house and fill it with 1920s and 1930s furniture and fabrics, and James's stained-glass work. Their single unit, a bargain at $65, has two full-size beds, a kitchenette, a private entrance, a stereo and VCR, and private lanai. Part three: Guests arrive and fall in love with this grand old house themselves . . . and everyone lives happily ever after (at least while they're on Kauai!). Epilogue: They just celebrated their 15th anniversary.
