Frommer's Review
You won't find many B&B/vacation rentals in Kekaha, located at the foot of Waimea Canyon and literally the last town on the west side. It's sunny here, but the residential area, coupled with the extreme location on the far end of the island, just doesn't give it much of a draw for visitors. But those looking for a quiet vacation will enjoy the remote setting. There are two houses on this property with two bedrooms each, both have lots of windows, lots of lanais, lots of quiet, and are just across the street from the ocean. The "Ironwoods House," nestled among Ironwoods Pines, is a 700-square-foot cottage, 150 feet from the sea, with open beam ceilings and wood parquet floors. The "Sea Grape House" is about 80 feet from the ocean with huge, huge decks. (Don't get too excited, the ocean here tends to be rough and not great for swimming, but okay for beachcombing and fishing; there are a couple good surfing sites nearby).
