Caissa Panzió

Centrally located and reasonably priced, the Caissa, named for the goddess of chess, is the hotel of choice for enthusiasts of the game. A family-owned and -operated pension, Caissa hosts official grandmaster tournaments every year. Recent guests have included the noted Hungarian chess masters, the Polgár family and Péter Lékó. The hotel's reception desk is on the fifth floor, where the kitchen and common room are also located. The small rooms are clean and bright; many overlook the quiet residential park in the front of the building. Four rooms have TVs, and two have private toilets and showers.
