Frommer's Review
This company pioneered first-class onboard dining and commentary by park rangers, who go on every trip -- a decisive advantage in my judgment. Their boats are slower than some of the competitors', so they don't make the long trip to Northwest Glacier; they either go to Aialik Glacier or tour Resurrection Bay around Seward. Instead of bringing sandwiches or stopping for a meal, they serve a buffet of salmon and prime rib onboard for $15 per person, $7 for children. The food is surprisingly good. I also like their table-seating arrangement with forward-facing seats. Your seat is assigned, so there's no need to rush aboard or try to stake out your spot.
