Frommer's Review
With a sign reading PROPERTY PROTECTED BY KILLER LEPRECHAUNS, you get the impression right away that this place is going to be friendly and casual. Dating from 1838 and set on high ground overlooking Killarney's lakes and golf courses, this rambling Edwardian country manor house is all about golf. This is where golfers come to talk about golf after playing some golf. Surrounded by mature gardens in a quiet residential area just northwest of the town, it has a relaxed, down-home feel, with many of the comforts of a hotel. The guest rooms, which vary in size and decor, feature orthopedic beds and standard furniture. The pub is golf-centric, the staff friendly and golf-savvy.
