This popular pub on the outskirts of Killarney National Park is a festive spot. It’s quite touristy, so don’t come here looking for much in the way of authenticity, but the interior has oodles of rustic charm. The menu sticks to traditional pub food—fish and chips, catch of the day, homemade pies, lamb stew—though the house burger served with mozzarella, arugula, and basil shakes things up a bit. Vegetarians are catered to with almost as many options as the meat and fish dishes. July to September features a show of live music and Irish dancing every night except Sunday and Monday; during October, the show is on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
