Blueberry Hill Inn ReviewThe homey Blueberry Hill Inn lies in the heart of the Moosalamoo recreation area, on 180 acres along a quiet road about 45 minutes northwest of Killington, perhaps midway to Middlebury. With superb hiking, biking, canoeing, swimming, and cross-country skiing, it's a good destination for those inclined toward spending time outdoors, away from the bother of everyday life. From an inn brochure: "We offer you no radios, no televisions, no bedside phones to disturb your vacation." There are also no Jacuzzis or double-sided fireplaces, either, a bit surprising given the high room rates. But there are plenty of country-design quilts and simple pieces of furniture; this is a place for true rustication. The inn dates to 1813, though one graceful addition is the greenhouse walkway leading to the cozy guest rooms. Family-style meals are served in a rustic dining room, with a great stone fireplace and homegrown herbs drying from the wooden beams. Remember that rates here are charged per person, not per room; kids are charged half-price. Facilities: Note: This information was accurate when it was published, but can change without notice. Please be sure to confirm all rates and details directly with the companies in question before planning your trip.

| 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
