The Royal Military College, which is Canada's West Point, sits across Navy Bay from Fort Henry. Its campus occupies the site of a Royal Navy dockyard that played a key role in the War of 1812. Though you can tour the grounds year-round, the museum, in a large Martello tower, is open only in summer. It houses displays about the college's history and Kingston's Royal Dockyard, plus the Douglas collection of small arms and weapons.
