Hotel Schloss Lebenberg ReviewThe core of this hotel is a medieval castle whose walls and turrets have been covered with stucco, and a modern extension has been added nearby. The entire complex sits on a hill looking over the village, less than 1.5km (1 mile) from Kitzbühel, with dozens of mountain paths originating at its door. Rooms are elegantly furnished and come in a wide range of sizes, including some spacious enough for sitting areas with wrought-iron coffee tables. Many beds are canopied. French doors lead to private patios or balconies. The dozen or so large, Gothic-style castle rooms are the most sought after.
