Casino Kitzb¨hel

Although it offers a less ambitious roster of entertainment options than it did in years gone by, this remains the only (legal) gambling venue in Kitzbühel. You'll be required to show a passport before entering, after which you can wander among machines and croupiers devoted to roulette, blackjack, baccarat, poker, and slot machines. There's also a bar on-site, where you might eventually search out a perch for the observation of the sometimes-sleepy gambling action at the tables.

It's open only about 6 months out of the year, from July 1 to mid-September, and from about a week before Christmas to the end of March. During those periods, it's open daily 3pm to 3am. Unlike some other Austrian casinos, men are not required to wear jackets or ties.
