Introduction to Krimml
Krimml is the best base for exploring the Krimml Falls. The village is in a heavily forested valley called Krimmler Ache, between the Kitzbühel Alps and the Hohe Tauern. Although it's mostly a summer resort, there's also good skiing at Gerlosplatte (1,708m/5,604 ft.), 11km (7 miles) away.
