Hotel Anno 1937

This is the most atmospheric hotel in Kristianstad. Near the heart of town, it was originally built in the 1700s as the private home of the local bailiff. Today it boasts some of the most elaborate brickwork in town, especially on its second floor, where windows are gracefully arched and mullioned. Bedrooms are outfitted with more style and taste than you might have guessed from the hotel's relatively moderate rates. None is particularly large, but in view of their coziness, soft beds, and carefully chosen decorations, guests find that the rooms are very comfortable.
