A top pick for a budget hotel, Capitol is located in an up-and-coming part of the city's popular Golden Triangle district, close to the junction of Jalan Sultan Ismail and Jalan Bukit Bintang. In the surrounding lanes you'll find small eateries and shops for necessities, and a short hop away is the Times Square megamall. The place has been nicely refurbished, with a minimalist lobby that's function over frills. Inside the refurbished guest rooms, the wooden furniture seems like it's been around a while, but the upholstery, bedding, carpeting, and drapes are all fresh. The big tiled bathroom also has a long bathtub. There are no leisure facilities to speak of, but if you've come to KL to sightsee, you won't miss them.
