Planning a Trip

Getting There

If you're driving from Nantes, take N165 northwest to Savenay and continue west along D773 to La Baule. The train trip from Nantes takes about an hour and costs 12€ ($16) one-way. The town's most convenient railway station is La Baule-Escoublac, in the heart of town. Try to avoid getting off at La Baule-Les Pins, which is 4km (2 1/2 miles) northeast of the commercial center. For train information, call tel. 08-92-35-35-35.

Visitor Information

The Office de Tourisme is at 8 place de la Victoire (tel. 02-40-24-34-44; www.labaule.fr).
