Frommer's Review
Located in the Best Western Hotel Acadiana, this is a good solution for the hungry traveler who wants to avoid the all-too-many chain options in town. The menu is all over the map, but you'll find enough regional and seafood choices to focus your attention on. Starters include eggplant Napoleon, baked and filled with shrimp, tasso, and pepper jack cheese, and topped with a spicy cream sauce -- it's smoky, rich, and decadent. Pan-seared crab cakes are served on a bed of fettuccini with a Dijon mustard sauce. If you are looking for comfort food, try the hamburger steak (remember those?): a 1/2-pound ground beef, grilled to order, topped with sautéed onions, provolone, and mushroom gravy. Note: At press time it was undergoing some renovations, so the menu may have changed a bit by the time you go here.

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
