Dining is in a beautiful stone-floored room with white stone walls or on a covered terrace overhanging the water. The kitchen makes the most of local herbs and vegetables and, of course, the bounty of the lake -- for starters, tagliolini laced with caviar, and one of the best of the many risottos combines wild mushrooms and lavarello (a white fish from the lake). Grilled lake trout stuffed with radicchio risotto is an excellent choice for a main course, though a half-dozen other local fish are available.
