One of the finest hotels in town enjoys a wonderful location right on the lake at the main square. The management lavishes a great deal of attention on the public rooms and guest rooms and charges very fairly. The lobby is filled with rare Persian carpets and abstract art. The rooms reached via a sweeping circular staircase are warm and luxurious, with tasteful furnishings and marble-trimmed bathrooms; the best rooms have balconies hanging over the lake. Lakeview rooms are outfitted in antique style; those overlooking the square and town are done in modern functional. Amenities include a formal restaurant, a casual cafe/bar extending onto a lakeside terrace, a rooftop solarium with sauna, and a nearby gated parking lot.
