Frommer's Review
This gracious hotel is one of the most pleasant places to stay on Garda. It's on the lake at one end of Limone sul Garda's narrow main street and surrounded by palm trees. Downstairs, a bar and reasonably priced restaurant flow onto a flowery terrace right on the lake. Upstairs, the large, pleasant rooms are furnished in Venetian-style antiques (some genuine, others reproduction), and all but a few face the lake; the three best have small balconies hanging out over the water (if your room doesn't have a balcony, you can enjoy the lake from the downstairs terrace or rooftop solarium). A small beach is just a few steps down the road, and the hotel has a small pool amid lemon-shaded terraces nearby. There's also a larger pool available at its sibling hotel, the hillside Splendid Palace, where they'll be happy to reserve a room for you if Le Palme is full.
