The American poet Ezra Pound once lived in this pink-stucco lakeside hotel, located on a quiet side street leading to the lake in the center of town. Despite its long history as a lakeside retreat, the Eden has recently been modernized with taste and an eye to comfort. You can see the lake from most of the attractive rooms, which are decorated with contemporary furnishings. The mirrored walls enhance the light and lake views. The large bathrooms are new, and many have big tubs. The marble lobby opens to a delightful shaded terrace and a swimming pier that juts into the lake.
