A seven-story structure erected in the mid-1980s in the center of town, this hotel provides well-maintained accommodations and a thoroughly international and modern style. Despite an upscale decor that includes lots of hardwood panels, marble floors, and a dramatic modern staircase within the lobby, the well-trained staff exudes warmth. Bedrooms contain aspects that evoke a living room in a comfortably contemporary home, partly because of the occasional sofa and, in some cases, reproductions of Turkish or Persian carpets.
