Frommer's Review
A number of top Hawaii chefs (such as Phillippe Padovani and Edwin Goto) have each added bits of their own style to the inspiring menu, which melds Mediterranean with island cuisine. The result is one of Lanai's top gourmet restaurants. The latest incarnation of this classy, formal restaurant, overlooking the resort and the ocean beyond, is traditional Italian cuisine. Try the homemade spinach gnocchi or the lobster risotto. My other favorites include the osso buco, rare ahi alla caponata, and the onaga alla puttanesca with artichoke purée and a spicy tomato-and-caper sauce. Be sure to leave room for the scrumptious desserts.
