Frommer's Review
Located next to the Main Dining Room in The Lodge at Koele, between the 35-foot-high Great Hall and a glass wall looking out over prim English gardens, this wonderful restaurant is the Lodge's "casual" dining room. The menu may be fancy for comfort food, but it does, indeed, comfort. Hearty breakfasts of waffles and cereals, fresh local pineapple, frittatas, and blue crab Benedict are a grand start to the day. Dinner choices include slow-roasted lamb shank, grilled beef filet, roasted pork chops, fresh fish of the day, and a couple of vegetarian selections (garganelli pasta with sautéed mushrooms and white truffle butter and a teriyaki-glazed vegetable-and-tofu brochette with zucchini couscous).
