The aliens have landed! No one knows what happened to the aliens themselves, but they left behind their spaceship right here in La Paz, on top of the Hotel Presidente, and it's been converted into an excellent restaurant with spectacular views of the city. This restaurant -- hands down the best in the city -- really feels like something from outer space, with an unbeatable 360-degree view of La Paz at night. The food, which includes homemade pasta, lamb kabobs, grilled chicken, and seafood, is out of this world as well. If you like fish, you must order the grilled trout -- I've never eaten a more succulent piece of fish. The parrilla mixta (assorted cuts of grilled meat for two people) is also excellent.
