This is the grandest B&B in the Dominican Republic, and also one of the finest in the entire Caribbean Basin. It has only one drawback -- it's expensive but worth it for those who can afford it. It's oceanfront property opening onto a field of coconut palms. The family-run mansion is Victorian in style, an old-fashioned looking plantation house with encircling verandas. The owners have filled the house with the bounty of their world travels, especially to the Far East. Paintings, sculpture, and various art objects fill the public rooms. The bedrooms are the epitome of luxury and comfort, each individually decorated in grand style. Gourmet meals are served only to guests.
