This grand and elegant "brasserie de luxe" is in a lakeside pavilion, the dining room resembling a Paris cafe, with mirrors, pillars, cheerfully striped banquettes, bay windows, a flowery terrace, and a bustling environment that's less chillingly formal than you might have expected. Typical tasty dishes, made only with the freshest ingredients, include a superb version of steak tartare prepared on a trolley directly at table; a very fresh salad of wild mesclun greens with chevre (goat cheese); filets of sole either grilled or breaded and fried meuniere style; fricassee of chicken flavored with vinegar and tarragon; a satay of red tuna, skewered and served with peanut sauce; and tagliatelle with seafood. Sumptuous desserts can be ordered from the trolley.
