Frommer's Review
Lecce's finest hotel is also its most luxurious. Once the palazzo of rich family landowners, it was turned into an inn in 1797. It stands proudly in the midst of the baroque monuments of this old city. Without being overly pretentious, the hotel is a bastion of elegance, comfort, and good taste. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished in a rich Liberty style. Each room comes with its own original decorative paintings. Master artisans were called in to preserve the original architectural features, which were not obliterated when modern comforts were added. The best rooms with the finest service are found on the VIP floor.
