Hotel Krone

One of the two oldest and most historic hotels in Lech, this is the resort's only member of the Romantik chain, and as such it features large doses of genuine history and folkloric charm. Designed like a chalet in 1741, it was acquired by descendants of its present owners, the Pfefferkorn family, in 1865. The hotel's interior is attractively woodsy, with ceramic-tile stoves, oriental rugs, beamed ceilings, a spacious sun deck, and comfortable fireside chairs. Rooms are elegantly furnished, with exceedingly comfortable beds. Many have balconies, and the best of the doubles contain sitting rooms. Hotel guests enjoy the evening dance club, which is located in an adjoining wing to avoid disturbing the rest of the guests. Sometimes Tyrolean evenings are staged.
