It features an outstanding selection of paintings, sculptures, wood and metal crafts, hand-painted silk scarves, handblown glass, Shaker-style furniture, photographs, prints, decoys, stained glass, and jewelry. Virginia Born & Bred, 16 W. Washington St. (tel. 540/463-1832), has made-in-Virginia gifts. Collectibles hunters will find an amazing array of old and not-so-old stuff literally stuffed into The Second Hand Shop, 7 S. Jefferson St. (tel. 540/463-7559), between Washington and Nelson streets.
