Getting There -- The nearest airport is Kloten International Airport outside Zurich, about 130km (80 miles) to the west of Vaduz. There is both train and bus transportation into Liechtenstein from Zurich.
Many express trains pass through Liechtenstein, but none stop there. You can take a train from Zurich to Sargans or to Buchs in nearby Switzerland. Call tel. 0900/300-300 for rail schedules. At both Sargans and Buchs, you'll find good bus connections to Vaduz and other communes in Liechtenstein.
If you're driving from Zurich, head southwest along N3 until you reach the junction with N1, then take N1 north to the turnoff for Vaduz.
