A pub since 1984, this major venue for the alternative rock scene is housed in a historic building from 1832. Visited by musicians, students, and others, it often stages live concerts on the ground floor of its two floors. Patrons range in age from 18 to 30, and they listen to recorded music -- rock, punk rock, whatever -- when there are no live bands. Another potent lure for young people is that the pub offers the cheapest pints in Lillehammer, at 45NOK ($6.95/£3.70) per one-half liter. It's open daily 10:30am to 2am.
