Hillcrest Hotel ReviewThis is a fine redbrick house, built in 1871 as the private home of a local vicar. Though converted into a comfortable, small, licensed hotel, it retains many of its original features. It's on a quiet, tree-lined road overlooking 10 hectares (25 acres) of parkland, in the old high town and within easy walking distance of Lincoln Cathedral and the Roman remains. The bedrooms are well furnished and kept in shape; some rooms have four-poster beds. Nearly all open onto a view.
