It’s big, it’s loud, it’s right on the beach, it’s family-friendly, and they don’t take reservations so there’s always a line for dinner on weekends and during the busy summer months. If you don’t want to wait, ask if you can be seated at the bar—the full menu is available, and you can still look out through the giant windows toward the tiny D River (Oregon’s shortest) and the beach beyond. I have been eating at Kyllo’s for years, and I’ve never had a bad meal. But I always stick to the basics, like pan-fried Willapa Bay oysters, a halibut sandwich, crab cakes, or fish and chips. The fish and shellfish is always fresh, and your meal comes with various sides that will more than adequately fill you up. This bright, contemporary-looking restaurant is the best casual place to eat in Lincoln City.
