This is the smallest government-rated four-star hotel in Linz, and also one of the best for those desiring an intimate atmosphere and top-notch service. Renovations and improvements have been so drastic that the hotel was granted another star. It takes its name from the "Three Moors" (English translation). It is told that these gents from the Far East were stranded in 1770 in a violent snowstorm in Linz and liked the place so much they decided to live here. Opposite the Landhaus Park, the inn lies in the center of town, taking over a trio of buildings from the 1500s which have been considerably modernized and upgraded over the ages. Most of the rooms are spacious doubles with regal furnishings; there are also less desirable accommodations with less lavish adornments.
