Frommer's Review
Lying on the south coast, this resort was built in 1991. It's close to many of the island's diving and sporting attractions, including the South Hole Sound Lagoon's bonefishing. It's popular with anglers, divers, bird-watchers, and adventurous types. The hotel lies only 1.5km (1 mile) from the airport, and it has a white-sand beach fringing a shallow, reef-protected bay. It is divided into three pastel, coral-colored, two-story buildings with gingerbread trim. The most desirable units are the 12 oceanfront rooms. Each accommodation has a ceiling fan and an inviting, airy atmosphere. Each of the units has one king-size or two double beds, plus a combination bathroom (tub/shower). The rooms are standard, but far more elegant than "basic." The Birds of Paradise restaurant serves large buffet-style dinners and does a popular barbecue on Saturday nights.
Facilities:
Restaurant; bar; pool; tennis court; health club; spa; Jacuzzi; sauna; watersports equipment/rentals; bikes; babysitting; laundry service; nonsmoking rooms

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
