Frommer's Review
This is an elegant and sophisticated contemporary restaurant and bar along the historic Liverpool waterfront. Guests come here throughout the day for items such as tasty international tapas, vegetarian specialties, fresh fish dishes, and American fusion cookery. Ingredients are market fresh and can be enjoyed informally on the downstairs level or more grandly at the upstairs gallery, where you can order fish steaks and even roast suckling pig. The cafe makes the best sandwiches in town, including the Thanksgiving, made with oven-roasted turkey and served with brambly-apple stuffing. Plates to share include a Med Platter, with a taste of the Mediterranean, including blue-fin tuna salad and a lamb dish. For lunch, many diners drop in for a soup and sandwich.
