Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills ReviewThis intimate-feeling 16-story hotel completed a $33-million renovation in 2010, and attracts a mix of A-list jet-setters loyal to the Four Seasons brand and an L.A. showbiz crowd that cherishes the hotel as an après-event gathering place, especially at Windows Lounge. Like other Four Seasons, the concierge is famously well connected and service staff goes the distance. Guest room luxuries include contemporary furnishings with elements of Old Hollywood, 42-inch LCD flatscreen TVs, custom Stearns and Foster mattresses with heavenly linens and pillows, marble bathrooms with vanity TV, and French doors leading to private balconies. Room rates rise with the elevator, so bargain hunters need to sacrifice the view. For not much more money per night, the Premiere King rooms are on the corners of the building, and offer wraparound balconies. Along with a full-service spa with several exclusive and organic spa treatments, the view-endowed fourth-floor deck features a saline lap pool with an elevated whirlpool, Cabana Restaurant, and a glass-walled fitness center. Culina, Modern Italian is the new (and quite good) restaurant featuring one of L.A.'s only crudo bars, house-made pasta, brick-oven thin-crust pizza, innovative Italian entrees, and more than 200 wine labels, mostly Italian and available by the carafe. Outside seating is a must on warm days and nights. Facilities: Note: This information was accurate when it was published, but can change without notice. Please be sure to confirm all rates and details directly with the companies in question before planning your trip.

| 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
