Open since 1931, this Santa Monica bastion of blues claims to be the oldest blues club in Los Angeles. Dark and sexy like a blues club should be, you can always rely on a good local band playing here; many famous musicians have passed through as well, including Albert King and Bonnie Raitt. The mostly 30-and-up crowd usually needs a few cocktails before hitting the dance floor. Great website.
