Attractions

For most travelers, Los Mochis is a stopover en route to somewhere else. There isn't much here, but the town is pleasant, and you can enjoy some excellent seafood. The Viajes Flamingo travel agency, on the ground floor of the Hotel Santa Anita (tel. 668/812-1613, -1929), arranges a city tour, hunting and fishing trips, and a harbor tour around Topolobampo Bay. The harbor tour is fun. The agency is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30am to 1pm and 3 to 6:30pm. The boat ride is really just a spin in the bay and not especially noteworthy, although the bay is pretty and dolphins often show up.
