The Santa Anita is the choice of most travelers going to the canyon; not only is it a comfortable, quiet hotel, but it offers reliable transportation to and from the train station. The rooms are modern and well furnished but vary a good deal in size. All are carpeted and have comfortable beds, color TVs with U.S. channels, and tap water purified for drinking. The hotel's popular restaurant is just off the lobby. There are two bars, one with live music at least 1 day a week.
