Frommer's Review
Along a dark stretch of road north of Ludlow, you'll pass this brightly lit cafe with a red neon sign indicating HARRY'S over the door. At 50 miles an hour, it looks like a hamburger joint or a biker roadhouse, but it's not. Instead, this is an appealing family restaurant with a menu spanning the globe; owner Trip Pearce, a former lobster fisherman and seafood chef, even named the place for his dad. Entrees are a culinary United Nations: New York sirloin steaks, jerked pork, curries, seafood medallions, pork chops, and spicy ravioli. There's also a kids' menu. Your best bet is probably the Thai fare, which is a house specialty -- watch for the special nights of three-course prix-fixe Thai dinners. Dessert should be mousse or an ice-cream sundae with the house hot fudge. Harry's sells its sauces to take home, too.

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
