Getting There
If you are driving, follow the above directions to Canovánas and continue on Route 3 east into Río Grande. The entrance to El Yunque is on the right, and just beyond is the left turn to the Wyndham. The Gran Melía Puerto Rico is also off Highway 3.
A hotel limousine (tel. 787/888-6000) from the San Juan airport costs $225 per carload to the Wyndham Río Mar Beach Resort and Spa. A taxi costs approximately $70. Hotel buses make trips to and from the San Juan airport, based on the arrival times of incoming flights; the cost is $28 per person, each way, for transport to El Conquistador; $25 per person, each way, to the Wyndham.
