At night the first floor of this member of the Woodruff Inns turns into a romantic fine-dining venue. The menu varies by season and availability of local produce. One autumn evening saw pork tenderloin with pineapple salsa and Cornish hen with an apple cider sauce. Summer might see salmon baked in a garlic-wine sauce. Virginia vintages always appear on the wine list. Best tables in warm weather are on the front porch.
