Frommer's Review
Sitting opposite Luray Caverns, which owns and spotlessly maintains it, this older one-story motel with a plantation facade is dated, but the spacious rooms have pleasant views across pastureland to the Blue Ridge Mountains. The choice unit is an apartment with full kitchen. A sister establishment, the equally clean Luray Caverns Motel East (tel. 540/743-4531), is a short distance east on U.S. 211 Business. Many of its 44 units are small but comfortable stone cottages. Rates are the same at both motels.
