In the center of Lyon, this is one of the best moderately priced hotel choices. The lobby evokes the 1930s. The guest rooms, though comfortable, are outfitted in businesslike modern style. Because this is a noisy part of the city, double-glazing on the windows helps shut out traffic sounds; the quieter rooms are in the rear. Each unit comes with a tiled bathroom, and most have a tub. Breakfast is the only meal served, though you may prefer croissants and coffee at one of the cafes on place Bellecour.
