Nice to see a prince get a little recognition around here (even though he doesn't personally appear)! It’s easy to enjoy one of the world’s prettiest carousels. The 90-second ride was handmade in 1917 for a Detroit amusement park and it spent nearly 4 decades in Maplewood, New Jersey, before Imagineers rescued it, refurbishing it and the original organ calliope (although you’ll hear prerecorded Disney songs instead). The horses, which rise up and down, are arranged so that the largest ones are on the outside. Cinderella’s personal steed has a golden ribbon tied to its tail.
