Frommer's Review
Perched on a steep hillside above the harbor, this hotel looks like a large Georgian villa whose charms are largely of another era. It is, without question, the most traditional accommodation in Minorca, located in a residential neighborhood. It's one of the few large hotels that stays open year-round, and half of its rooms are usually reserved for tour groups. Some guests have been coming here since the 1950s, which indicates the age level of many of the patrons.
There is a sense of calm and unhurried comfort in the airy, stone-floored public areas. The rooms overlook the harbor, the bougainvillea-filled garden, or the quiet street outside. Each has an ornate balcony with louvered shutters and potted flowers. Immaculately kept bathrooms come with tub/shower combos.
