Brull Hotel & Spa

One of our favorite retreats in all of Majorca is this restored 18th-century farmhouse in the more tranquil northeastern sector of the island, lying midway between the villages of Artà in the north and Son Servera in the south. In ruins when discovered by a Majorcan architect and designer, it has been skillfully converted into a rural property of elegance and charm. Surprisingly for such a small place, it offers a spa tucked away behind the pool, with a sauna, Hamman, Jacuzzi, fitness center, and yoga room. The design reflects a minimalist slant, with sculptures, plants, and lamps judiciously placed about. The spacious junior suites have their own terraces. Bathrooms are tasteful and well equipped with tub and separate shower, as well as such extras as bathrobes and cosmetic mirrors. Reserved just for guests and their friends, the on-site restaurant specializes in classic island dishes with a wide range of Spanish wines.
